Back in July 2021, a JENDELA map web portal was released in Malaysia for Malaysians to check their internet area coverage. On top of that, they may also submit a report on how each telco's mobile service performs in a particular area. Today, a new JENDELA app is now available on the Google Play and Apple App Store.

Launched by the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC), the JENDELA app works more or less the same as the website counterpart. Upon entering the app, you can see several options such as Submit Feedback, Check Coverage, Feedback Map and many others. Users have the option to use the app in Bahasa Malaysia or English.

Besides that, MCMC also added a Malaysian Family Digital Economy Centre (Pusat Ekonomi Digital Keluarga Malaysia aka PEDi) location whereby Malaysians can check the nearest office. Moreover, you may chat with the AIDA bot on your enquiries and so on. Oddly, the app hasn't included 5G connectivity mobile coverage yet.

If you like, you can read up some JENDELA news or go to the JENDELA website directly from your mobile. All in all, the app is quite similar to the website but much more convenient for Malaysians now. As aforementioned, the JENDELA app is now available to download for free on the Google Play and Apple App Store.
