If you are a fan of HUAWEI phones, this news might catch your attention. Recently, rumour suggests the new Kirin 9100 SoC could be as good as the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. That said, what should you know about it?

According to @DirectorShiGuan on Weibo, the new chipset could record more than 1.1 million on a benchmark platform. We have yet to confirm which platform that is, but that could highly likely be AnTuTu. Previously, the Kirin 9010 SoC recorded around 960000-980000. So, we could expect the new chipset to achieve more.

In addition, this processor could power the new HUAWEI Pura 70 series. If everything goes smoothly, the new chipset could arrive this October 2024. We have yet to confirm other details or the Malaysia release date for the processor. So, we should wait for more confirmation from HUAWEI.
