Finally, the time has come. Previously, we’ve heard many rumours about the lite version of both Samsung Galaxy S10 and the Note 10 series. Now, there is a source claiming the Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite and Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite will be coming real soon.
According to Korea Herald, the two devices are expected to be officially announced at the CES 2020, which is going to be held from 7 to 10 January 2020. Other than that, they didn’t share many details about the devices’ designs or tech specs.
However, we already have a clue from the rumours that spread throughout the internet not long ago. To recap, the Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite will sport a 6.7-inch SuperAMOLED display with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset. It is also said that the device will not use the Samsung Exynos chipset anymore for regions outside the US. The S10 Lite will have 8GB of RAM with 128GB of storage as well.
The device has three cameras for taking pictures despite being the ‘lite’ version. One of them will be a 48MP camera that has a new image stabilization technology called a tilt optical image stabilization (tOIS). The other two are a 12MP ultra-wide angle camera and a 5MP macro camera. On top of that, the S10 Lite will pack an impressive 4500mAh battery that supports Super Fast Charging 2.0 with up to 45 watts.
Coming to the Galaxy Note 10 Lite, it shares the same screen size as the S10 Lite. However, the Note 10 Lite is expected to ship with an Exynos 9810 chipset rather than a Snapdragon chipset. The camera setup on the device will be the same as the one on the standard Galaxy Note 10, with a 12MP main camera, a 12MP telephoto camera, and a 12MP ultra-wide angle camera. Of course, it will come with the stylus pen as well to perform daily tasks.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite packs a 4500mAh battery, a little bit more juice than the Note 10+. Sadly, things can’t always be perfect, as it is said that the device doesn’t support wireless charging. It will also have a 3.5mm audio jack, which was absent from the other Note 10 devices.
The CES 2020 is going to put up amazing shows as Apple is scheduled to show up as well since its last official appearance in 1992. Let us know what you think about the ‘Lite lineup’ on our Facebook page. Stay tuned to TechNave.com for more exciting smartphone updates.
