The compact Mi 9 SE has been officially made available here in Malaysia from 4 May 2019 coming in at RM1299 for the 6GB RAM + 64GB storage version and RM1499 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. Both versions will be available in two colours, Piano Black and Ocean Blue with the Lavender Violet coming in later.
Other tech specs include the newest upper midrange Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 chipset and a 5.97-inch Dot Drop display (dew drop notch) with FHD+ and in-screen fingerprint sensor. On the rear there’s a triple rear camera setup consisting of 13MP (ultra wide angle) + 48MP (wide angle) + 8MP (telephoto) cameras. For selfies, there’s a 20MP front camera while both sides offer AI-Assisted photography. A 3070 mAh battery keeps the lights on and it also comes with an 18W fast charger in the box.
In conjunction with Mother’s Day, every purchase of a Mi 9 SE from 4 May to 12 May 2019 will include a 10000 mAh Mi Power Bank 2S worth RM79 for free.
