Today, our Transport Minister Anthony Loke announced a new update on the MyJPJ app. The new update allows every Malaysian motorist to conveniently pay their traffic summonses on the app, directly from their mobile phones via the JPJ summonses on the app's homepage.
During the reveal, Loke told the media that not only does technology like this make things easier for the public but also enhances JPJ's efficiency. Additionally, he also mentioned that JPJ must continue to adapt to technological advancements and the needs of the public in the future, as digitalisation is an ongoing process.
At the moment, there are over 1.5 million users of the MyJPJ app. In addition to paying traffic summonses, other features such as renewing the Malaysian Driving License and Motor Vehicle License have contributed RM291.03 million of revenue.
