Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) will integrate MyDigital ID as an additional single sign-on (SSO) option in the myTNB application, starting early next year. So, what should you know about it?
For your information, this additional option allows customers to log in using MyDigital ID, should they prefer a unified digital identity solution. In early 2025 , selected myTNB customers will be invited to try the MyDigital ID login option in the initial rollout phase. You will also receive an exclusive invitation to update the myTNB application, allowing them to enjoy the benefits of MyDigital ID.
In addition, TNB explained that this initiative is in line with its commitment to support the MyDIGITAL agenda, which aims to streamline digital identity management in Malaysia, in addition to offering additional convenience and security to users.
By integrating MyDigital ID's SSO feature, TNB said users can access multiple TNB services while enjoying enhanced protection against data intrusion and fraud through centralized digital identity verification. Earlier, Prime Minister Dato' Seri Anwar Ibrahim in the presentation of Budget 2025 also announced that MyDigital ID will be the government's only application.
