When it comes to the most disliked YouTube videos of all time, most people who surf YouTube a lot would automatically think of YouTube Rewind 2019. That being said, another video may be joining up the ranks which is the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack overview trailer.

If you visit the YouTube video post link below, it currently has 132,000 Dislikes and counting. Keep in mind that this is just in two weeks and there are only 17,000 Likes from over 1.2 million views to date. Previously, Nintendo's most disliked video was Metroid Prime: Federation Force with 97K Dislikes. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out why it's so unpopular since the Expansion Pack is $50 (~RM207) which is twice the basic plan at $19.99 (~RM82).

For context, the Expansion Pack allow access to the Animal Crossing Expansion as well as a few Nintendo 64 and Sega Genesis video games for free. The old retro games may sound like a good idea on paper, but there are reports that the games aren't optimised properly on the Nintendo Switch. Furthermore, not everyone plays Animal Crossing: Horizon as well.

In the Malaysian market, Nintendo Switch gamers would often add each other (even strangers) to the Nintendo Switch Online family plan. This is because compared with the individual plan, it is far more cost-efficient for our weak Ringgit currency. Oh well, personally I think Nintendo may have gone too far and will need to rethink their strategy.
