It was only last week when we reported that Nothing CEO said there won't be any flagship from the company this year, but a Phone (4a) is coming. While there's no official announcement yet, the alleged reveal date was leaked by Yogesh Brar on X, and could be a special event, on March 5 at a special event during Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2026 in Barcelona.

Leak Details Point to Upgraded Storage and Design

According to the social media leak attributed to Yogesh Brar, the upcoming Phone (4a) series will feature a refreshed design and improved core hardware compared with last year’s Phone 3a lineup. Brar’s post mentions upgraded storage with UFS 3.1 technology, a marginal increase in battery capacity, and the use of a Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset, though exact models have not yet been confirmed.

The leak also suggests that the new models could carry a higher price than their predecessors, reflecting broader industry trends and rising component costs. Nothing itself previously revealed that the 4a series will include design updates and faster storage performance, lending partial support to these claims.

Pro Model Likely to Offer Enhanced Features

Industry speculation around the Phone (4a) Pro points to stronger hardware relative to the base model. Reports based on regulatory certifications and additional leaks suggest the Pro version may include a Snapdragon 7-series processor, a slightly larger 5080 mAh battery, and an IP65 rating for water and dust resistance. These specifications indicate incremental improvements over the previous 3a lineup, though they may not represent dramatic performance shifts.

The leak narrative also aligns with earlier certification database sightings for models A069 and A069P in regions including India and the United Arab Emirates, reinforcing the idea of imminent global availability for both variants.

What Lies Ahead Before Launch

The March 5 event is expected to include a livestream for global audiences, with full specifications, pricing details, and regional availability to be announced closer to the show. If the leak proves accurate, the Phone (4a) and 4a Pro could arrive just in time for the spring buying season. Stay tuned for more trending tech news at TechNave.com.
