As reported before, the Nothing Phone (3) will officially launch on 1 July 2025. But just a few hours ago, Nothing CEO Carl Pei tweeted that the Nothing Headphone (1) will also arrive alongside the flagship as the company's first over-ear headphones.
When was it announced?
The announcement was made at SXSW London, where he and the host discussed how the Nothing tech brand was breaking the rules by not copy-pasting features, no corporate fluff and a focus on design. Moreover, they also discussed the future of phones, AI and how Nothing's design-first approach made the brand stand out.
Pricing and features
While the exact pricing remains undisclosed, sources suggest that the headphones could be priced around $275 (~RM1.2K), undercutting the AirPods Max, which costs $549 (RM2,499 in Malaysia). It's worth noting that Nothing's previous audio products, such as the Ear (a) earbuds, have received positive reviews for delivering high-quality sound at competitive prices.
We will have to wait for less than a month until Nothing unveils both the Nothing Phone (3) and Nothing Headphone (1) on 1 July. In Malaysia, the adjusted time will be on 2 July at 1 AM. Until then, stay tuned for our official news coverage only at TechNave.com.
