The Nothing Phone (1) will follow the same transparent case design of the Nothing Ear (1)

It's been two months since Carl Pei, the CEO of Nothing announced the Nothing Phone (1). There wasn't any preview of the phone itself, but we may have some ideas thanks to an interview from Wallpaper.com.

So what can we expect from the interview? Well, according to Wallpaper.com, it looks like there's still quite a long way to go. The Nothing brand confirmed that the team was working on the phone during March this year. As previously announced by Pei, the team is looking to "making tech fun again" instead of being "corporate" which is evident these days.

How an Android phone would look like

On the other hand, Pei told the media that the Nothing Phone (1) will be following the aesthetic design of the Nothing Ear (1). If you recall, the wireless earbuds have a transparent casing showing the hardware inside which is pretty cool. From the words of Tom Howard, the Head Designer, they really want "to bring the inside out", especially the camera, wireless charging coil, and others.

Pei said that nobody (except Apple) in the tech industry had a consistent design throughout the years. He also added that the design philosophy is Nothing's top priority when it comes to branding. That way, the Nothing brand can distinguish itself from others, setting its own "iconic design language".
