5 years ago, OPPO launched the A53 (2015) and now there’s a new rumour that a brand new A53 could be coming soon. In this latest leak, the A53 looks like a follow up to the A52 back in April.

According to the leaks, the OPPO A53 could come with a 6.5-inch punch-hole LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate. As for the processor, the phone could feature a Snapdragon 460 chipset, up to 6GB of RAM, and up to 128GB of internal storage.

The list also said this phone could sport a triple rear camera setup with 13MP (main camera) + 2MP (macro lens) + 2MP (depth lens) and 16MP of punch-hole selfie snapper. Besides that, the fingerprint scanner might be located at the back of the phone.

The leak tech specs list

On the other hand, this device could have a 5000mAh battery and support an 18W fast charge technology. Lastly, this phone could run Android 10 out of the box. Since this is just a leak, we should just take it with a pinch of salt as usual and wait for the official announcement.

Obviously, the upcoming A53 should be different from the previous A53. There’s a good chance that OPPO Malaysia could launch this phone in Malaysia as the A series is popular here. Be sure to stay tuned for more tech news on TechNave.com.
