The League of Legends World Championship 2020 kicks off today and with the theme "Be the Legend", it's also noted that OPPO is still continuing as the official global smartphone partner for the tournament. With this partnership, the company has officially manufactured an OPPO Find X2 and OPPO Watch LoL Esports: World 2020 Edition but both devices have yet to make an official appearance yet.

Despite that, some sharp-eyed gadget enthusiasts have caught a glimpse of the Find X2 LoL edition in Riot Games' latest music video. Featuring Jeremy McKinnon from A Day To Remember, alongside MAX and Henry, the music video "Take Over" included a teaser of the special edition phone at the end of the video, where Faker, a pro LoL player was seen playing on it. We suspect the tech specs are more or less the same as the vanilla variant as well.

According to the President of Global Marketing at OPPO, William Liu, this is what he has to say about OPPO being partners with Riot Games:

“As the first global smartphone partner of LOL Esports, Oppo looks forward to collaborating again with the brand and delivering customized high-end products to our users. LOL is not only an icon of esports, but it also shares values that Oppo believes in, which include always striving for excellence and creating unique experiences for its users. This spirit is echoed in Oppo’s Find series which aims to showcase the ‘out of ordinary’”.

OPPO has a history of making various special edition phones throughout the years. The most recent ones are the OPPO Reno 4 Pro Galactic Blue Edition with local designers, Christy Ng and Pestle Mortar, as well as an OPPO Find X2 Pro Lamborghini Edition, OPPO Reno 10x Zoom Barcelona Edition, OPPO Reno Ace Gundam Edition, OPPO F11 Pro Marvel's Avengers Limited Edition, and many more. In short, they all look super cool.

We can't wait to see how the official OPPO Find X2 LoL Esports: World 2020 Edition looks like. Also, are you a fan of LoL? Stay tuned for more trending tech news at TechNave.com.
