The OPPO Find X8 series, realme GT6 Pro & OnePlus 13 may get a 6000mAh battery pack

For a few years now, having up to 5000mAh battery is the standard for most smartphones, particularly budget-friendly devices and some flagships. However, that may change in the future as more phones may get a battery upgrade

According to a tipster, he claimed on Weibo that the next OPPO Find X8 series, realme GT6 Pro, and the OnePlus 13 are going to use a 6000mAh battery pack. In case you didn't know, the Find X7 series uses a 5000mAh battery pack, whereas the other two have a slightly bigger 5400mAh battery. So if true, this is a major upgrade for the flagships.

However, using bigger battery packs will make the devices heavier too. All three phones weigh between 202g and 224g. On the other hand, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 could also potentially siphon more battery energy as the chipset features performance cores of up to 4.2GHz. The Adreno 830 GPU is said to be on a similar level with the Apple M2 too

In addition, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 could also raise the prices of flagships due to its power-hungry capabilities. The OPPO Find X8 series could be using that and rumours have it that it is launching in October 2024. The launching date is scheduled earlier than expected, which is usually by the end of the year.
