To kick off 2025, OPPO Malaysia has announced the OPPO Reno 13 Series will be the first phone launch this year. Scheduled for 7 January 2025, the event will be "Malaysia's longest tech fashion runway on a pool" with special guests.
While the price has not yet been revealed for obvious reasons, the pre-order for the upcoming series has already been live since last Christmas. To refresh your memory, interested customers can get up to RM200 instant rebates and exciting rewards worth up to RM2,266. This includes a couple of protection plans and warranty plans, as well as a free pair of Enco Air 4 earbuds.
In terms of tech specs, the Reno 13 and Reno 13 Pro have similar specifications. Both are rocking the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 chipset and the same memory configurations. The camera setup is the same as well, sporting a 50MP front camera, a 50MP primary camera and an 8MP ultrawide camera. However, the Reno 13 Pro has an extra 50MP periscope telephoto camera.
The Reno 13 Pro is also bigger than the non-pro variant, with its display measuring 6.83 inches (vs 6.59 inches). However, both AMOLED displays have the same 120Hz refresh rate and 3,840 PWM dimming technology. The charging technology is the same with 80W, although the pro variant has an extra 50W wireless charging for its 5,800mAh battery. The Reno 13 uses a 5,600mAh battery pack.
The Reno 13 Series will be unveiled soon. So just sit tight until next Tuesday and wait for the official news coverage only at TechNave.com.
