The OPPO Reno 5 series was just released in December last year and since it was released in China first, it was only a matter of time for the global release. According to sources, the company has been busy making preparations for Thailand, Taiwan, Singapore, India and Malaysia.
At the moment, it seems that the Reno 5 5G and Reno 5 Pro 5G are making their way to Thailand. Thanks to the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC), there are newly approved documents under the CPH2145 and CPH2201 model respectively. On the other hand, the Reno 5 5G, Reno 5 Pro 5G and Reno 5 Pro+ 5G will appear in Taiwan and Indonesia as the certifications from the National Communications Commission (NCC) and Global Certification Forum (GCF) got approved respectively.

Finally for the Malaysian market, we were told by an anonymous bird that the phone will arrive this month as well. A quick visit to the official website shows that the phone will arrive on 18 January 2021.
There is also a Reno 5 4G model which was just released on New Year's Eve of 2020 but it's not going anywhere internationally (for now). If you would like to know the tech specs recap, you may read our news coverage here and here. Stay tuned for more trending tech news at TechNave.com.
