At the end of May 2023, the OPPO Reno10 series was spotted in the SIRIM database and we just got confirmation from OPPO Malaysia that it will indeed be arriving soon. There's no specific date yet, but there's a good chance that the Reno10 series would be launching in July 2023.

To refresh your memory, there are three models in the Reno10 series lineup - the standard Reno 10, Reno 10 Pro and Reno 10 Pro+. We aren't sure which one would make it to the Malaysian market but there's a good chance that all three would debut as suggested by SIRIM. The Reno10 series has also been released so here's a quick breakdown of the specs.

All the phones have the same 6.7-inch 120Hz AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution. Besides that, the chipset on each model is different. The Reno 10 uses a Snapdragon 778G, followed by the Reno 10 Pro with a Dimensity 8200 and finally, the Reno 10 Pro+ is powered by a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset with MariSilicon X NPU. Both of the lesser variants have a 4600mAh battery, while the latter features a slightly higher 4700mAh battery pack.

The front camera on all the models is the same at 32MP. However, the triple rear camera setup for each is different, which is listed below accordingly:

  • Reno 10 - 64MP (main) + 32MP (telephoto) + 8MP (ultrawide)
  • Reno 10 Pro - 50MP (main) + 32MP (telephoto) + 8MP (ultrawide)
  • Reno 10 Pro+ - 50MP (main) + 64MP (telephoto, OIS and 3x optical zoom) + 8MP (ultrawide)

In terms of pricing, the Reno10 series starts at 2499 Yuan (~RM1634) and the memory configuration starts from 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. OPPO Malaysia will unveil the official prices soon when the launch date is happening. So until then, sit tight and wait for it.
