The OnePlus 10R, an upcoming smartphone from the popular Chinese smartphone manufacturer is confirmed to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8000 series processor. This is according to OnePlus India CEO, Navnit Nakra.

While Navnit didn’t specifically mention any particular Dimensity 8000 chipset, it is believed that the 10R will be powered by the Dimensity 8100. This is due to the upcoming phone’s similarities with the realme GT Neo 3 in terms of design and specs.

Well, we’ve reported previously how both smartphones would be pretty similar and tipsters have been saying that the OnePlus phone would be a rebrand of the realme phone. This makes sense considering the relationship between realme and OnePlus as sister companies.

As reported by 91mobiles, the 10R will sport the same battery and fast charging configuration as the realme GT Neo 3. One version will have a 4500mAh battery with 150W charging the other would have a 5000mAh battery with 80W charging.

No official release date has been given for the 10R just yet, though it is expected to launch some time in May, based on previous leaks. Well, only one way to find out, which is to wait until an official announcement by OnePlus.

Nevertheless, the 10R looks like a pretty solid phone, especially given how it would share the same specs with the stellar realme GT Neo 3. What do you guys think?
