Today, OnePlus Malaysia has announced that two new phones will be coming to Malaysia soon. The official launch date for the OnePlus Nord 2T 5G and Nord CE 2 Lite 5G will be on 14 July 2022.
The OnePlus Nord 2T 5G was released back in May 2022 so here's a recap of the tech specs. It's packed with a MediaTek Dimensity 1300 chipset, a 6.43-inch FHD+ AMOLED display that supports a 90Hz refresh rate and even uses a Corning Gorilla Glass 5. Then under the hood, there's also a respectable 4500mAh battery supporting an 80W SuperVOOC fast charging technology.
In addition, there is a triple rear camera consisting of a 50MP (main) + 8MP (ultrawide) + 2MP (monochrome) setup, whereas the front is a 32MP sensor. There are two memory configuration variants - 8GB + 128GB and 12GB + 256GB with a starting price of ~RM1851. This phone may be priced lower since it was converted from Euros.
On the other hand, the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G is a newer variant of the standard model. From what we know, it features a 120Hz refresh rate display and comes pre-installed with OxygenOS 12.1. It also has a Nightscape mode for low-light photography and of course, 5G connectivity. We won't be surprised if the rest of the specs are more or less the same.
