For your information, you can now highlight important messages by pinning them in your private or Group chats. This is super neat because it helps you save time and helps you find the intended messages more easily. As of now, you can pin multiple types of messages including text, poll, image, emojis, and so forth. As you can expect, all these messages will be end-to-end encrypted.
In addition, you can pin the message by long pressing on the message, then select 'Pin' from the context menu. A banner will appear to select the duration of the pinned message - 24 hours, 7 days, and 30 days). 7 Days is the default choice. As for the Group Chats, admins have the option to select if all members or only admins can pin a message.
