The Proton e.MAS 7 seems to be very popular in Malaysia. Back in February, over 4,000 bookings were made for the EV. Today, Proton is proud to announce that there are now over 5,500 bookings and more than 1,800 units delivered.
We can only imagine the figure climbing higher. If you have been interested in getting one, here's a refresher on the e.MAS 7 features. The EV sports a 160kW electric motor that delivers 320Nm of torque, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.9 seconds and a top speed of 175 km/h. Paired with next-gen AEGIS Short Blade battery technology, it enables ultra-fast charging from 30% to 80% in just 20 minutes, and a quick 10-minute DC charge offers 135 km of additional range.
According to Proton, the EV battery can retain 90.5% health after 921 full charge cycles, equivalent to 400,000 km of usage. In terms of interior space, the 2,750mm wheelbase and flat cabin floor have fully reclinable front seats, two-step reclining rear seats, and 33 creative storage compartments—including a hidden 14L under-seat compartment for valuables. Meanwhile, the boot space is 1,888L plus a 51L underfloor storage tub.

There is also a 15.4” 2.5K central touchscreen and a 10.2” LCD digital instrument cluster, both powered by Flyme Auto OS. Owners can use the Proton e.MAS App, which links to over 2,300 public charging points nationwide, including 75 DC fast-chargers at Proton, Proton e.MAS and smart dealerships. The EV also earned a 5-Star ASEAN NCAP rating.
The e.MAS 7 comes in two variants - the Prime and Premium, starting at RM105,800* and RM119,800*, respectively. It is now available at 31 Proton e.MAS outlets nationwide, with more locations to open throughout the year.
