
Qualcomm is apparently set to unveil its second-generation laptop processor series soon, which will likely be called the Qualcomm Snapdragon X2, and one of those processors, the Snapdragon X2 Elite, is reportedly currently in the testing process. So, what should you know about it?
For your information, several reports say that this processor chip comes with the code name SC8480XP , and comes with 18 physical cores, 6 more than the previous Snapdragon X Elite chip offering. For the test kit, they also reported that the computers came with 64GB of DDR5 memory and 1TB of SSD storage. With this configuration, there are also rumors that this processor chip will power desktop computers as well, and not just laptops.

Qualcomm is expected to showcase this series of processing chips during the Snapdragon Summit event in Hawaii at the end of September. Well, that’s all we know for now. Hopefully, there will be more exciting updates from Qualcomm soon.
