In case you missed the announcement late last night, ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) Malaysia has confirmed that the ROG Ally will indeed come to Malaysia. According to the official post on Facebook, the scheduled date will be in July 2023.

Besides that, ASUS ROG Malaysia also teased us that the prices that we saw online might be not what we expected (but in a good way). For context, the ROG Ally Z1 model is priced at $599 whereas the one with Z1 Extreme costs $699. Direct currency exchange for that is ~RM2725 and ~RM3180 respectively, so if the local prices are lower than those then it's really great.

For now, the pre-order is only happening in the US via Best Buy. In terms of tech specs, we already mentioned the Ryzen Z1 Series Processor by AMD, and it will come with 16GB of RAM and 512GB PCIe Gen 4 of storage. The IPS display is 7 inches and you can also get an optional Gaming Charger Dock to connect it to a TV.
