Yup, you read that right. the upcoming Red Magic 8S Pro will be released with a staggering 24GB of RAM. It was just announced on Red Magic's Weibo page a few hours ago, alongside the launching date which is 5 July 2023 in China.
That being said, it could be just a marketing ploy. After all, most brands nowadays would just show the total RAM with the original combined with the extended RAM feature. Besides that, the company also teased other confirmed features on the Red Magic 8S Pro. This includes the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset (or 8+ Gen 2?) with a core frequency of up to 3.36GHz as well as claiming Honkai: Star Rail easily running on 60 frames per second, indicating the display must have at least a 60Hz refresh rate.

In terms of design, we think the Red Magic 8S Pro shouldn't stray too far from the Red Magic 8 Pro. So the former should have a clean display without any front camera cutout intrusion, flat side frames, and a triple rear camera setup. More information will be revealed on the launching date.
