Sliding phones are something of a past and it's rarely applied on smartphones these days. At most, the ones that do have it is the OPPO Find X but OPPO never went back to using it again. In this news, it seems that Samsung has applied a new patent for a new dual slider smartphone.

Dubbed as the Samsung Galaxy A82, this phone looks like the successor to the Galaxy A80 that was released two years ago. This dual slider device looks quite unique as well, not only does it reveal the camera but you can slide it in two directions (up or down). If you slide the phone display upwards, it would unveil AKG speaker grills.

To imagine how the dual slider device looks like, Sarang Sheth, industrial designer and editor-in-chief at Yanko Design collaborated with LetsGoDigital to create some image renders based on the patent. Should Samsung go ahead and make this a reality, this would add another notch-less camera phone to the company's library. Since it's using a sliding mechanism, no dual-curved display was used.

Of course, do take this news with a pinch of salt as it's only an image render imagining how the Samsung Galaxy A82 might look like. But what do you folks think? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned for more trending tech news at TechNave.com.
