Looks like the rumours about the Samsung Galaxy S24 series are spreading like wildfire. According to The Elec, the Galaxy S24 Ultra could emulate what the Apple iPhone 15 Pro did. The Ultra variant could feature a titanium build.

According to the Korean tech news site, the Korean brand has planned on featuring the titanium build for the past two years. However, plans for it have been shelved until the release of the iPhone 15 Pro. Perhaps, Samsung was inspired by the launch and will reportedly manufacture over 15 million titanium cases.

In addition, a switch to the full metallic build could increase the price “up to four or five times”. Currently, Samsung uses aluminium cases for their phones and it costs them around $20 per unit. Moreover, the titanium build might make Samsung devices heavier as it is denser than aluminium.

If the rumours are true, the Galaxy S24 Ultra could be the first Samsung phone to be fully metallic. We have yet to confirm other news about this device. Hence, it’s best to take these rumours with a pinch of salt. At this point, we can only wait.
