As we get closer to the Galaxy Unpacked event, there is a new rumour that the Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim may not launch in the US at all. According to sources, the slim variant may make its way to a few countries, mainly regions such as Asia, the Middle East, Europe and many more.
If the list is true, then the Galaxy S25 Slim could debut in the Southeast Asia region as well, including our home country of Malaysia. Besides that, our neighbouring countries such as Singapore, the Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam may get the Galaxy S25 Slim too.
Besides Southeast Asia, below is a list of other countries that could get the Galaxy S25 Slim as well:
- Afghanistan
- Australia,
- Austria
- Brazil
- Croatia
- Egypt
- France
- India
- Iraq
- Ireland
- Israel
- Kazakhstan
- Kenya
- Libya
- Mexico
- Montenegro
- Morocco
- Nigeria
- Pakistan
- Poland
- Portugal
- Russia
- Saudi Arabia
- Senegal
- Serbia
- Slovenia
- South Africa
- Sri Lanka
- Switzerland
- Tunisia
- Türkiye
- The UAE
- The UK
- Uzbekistan
The Caucasus region is also mentioned in the list. It is also worth noting that there are other missing countries such as Canada, China, Germany, Italy, Spain and even Samsung's own home turf, South Korea. It is unclear why Samsung has only chosen these countries for having the Galaxy S25 Slim but perhaps may have something to do with a lower price entry point.
The Galaxy Unpacked livestream will begin at 2 AM (23 January 2025) in Malaysia's time zone. As per tradition, we are expecting to see the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+ and the Galaxy S25 Ultra, as well as other Galaxy accessories if any. Stay tuned for our official news coverage only at TechNave.com.
