Looks like things are getting interesting between Google and Samsung. Recently, Samsung has become the second device after the Pixel to receive various exclusive features and functions from Google. Recently, Samsung devices will no longer include the Samsung Messages application because it has been changed to Google Messages. So, what should you know about it?
For your information, Samsung devices in Malaysia have made the Google Message app the default messaging app for SMS and RCS for over a year. At the same time, the Samsung Message application is still installed. In the United States, starting with the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Galaxy Z Flip6, the Samsung Message app will no longer be pre-installed and Google Message will replace it as the default messaging app.

In addition, the Samsung Message app is still included in the Galaxy Store with some features and functions being removed. It's perfect for those who just want a simple messaging app for SMS temporary codes and verification codes.
In case you didn’t know, the Samsung Message app is no longer offered on the Galaxy Store Malaysia and on the Galaxy Z Flip6 although the app is still usable – on the Galaxy Store it displays the message “ Content is no longer supported on your device. Please contact the content producer to find out when your device will be supported. ” This means that if you get rid of this application, there is no official installation method other than sideloading the APK.
