Although the Xiaomi 12 series got fully revealed not long ago, there might still be something you didn't know. This time, the Xiaomi 12 Pro comes with the third self-developed chip, Surge P1, which is specially made for fast charging. According to this new report, the chip actually allows a 4,000mAh battery to get fully charged in just 8 minutes.
The new chip allows a 200W wired charging technology to charge a 4,000 mAh battery in 8 minutes. It can also power up a 120W single cell in a second. Besides that, the chip supports up to 42 levels of safety protection as well, with a TÜV Rheinland Safe Fast Charging System 3.0 certification.
It's worth mentioning that Xiaomi only disclosed the information today. The company says that it has been thinking about the next generation of fast charging solutions after releasing the second one. Xiaomi Surge P1 is the answer that brings a couple of new experiences.
