Long tv series will eventually come to an end and it's the same goes to The Walking Dead. After entertaining fans from all around the world for nearly 10 years, the show will be ended with a final 11th season. However, it is not the end of the story as spinoffs and movies are on their way to our hearts again.
According to Variety and Entertainment Weekly, the show will air its final season in late 2021 and it will consist of 24 episodes. Therefore, it sounds like there are still a lot of episodes for you to binge before you wave goodbye to it.

Earlier, it was reported that the series will be made into a movie trilogy that will run on the AMC network. The films are said to tell what is described as “an original Rick Grimes story,” the first of which will be written by former series showrunner and current franchise chief content officer Scott Gimple. For the spinoff series, it has already been greenlit for AMC and will focus on characters like Daryl Dixon (played by Norman Reedus) and Carol Peletier (Melissa McBride). However, it won't debut until 2023.
