The Wuhan Coronavirus has caused Google offices and Apple retail stores in China to shut down temporarily!

The Wuhan coronavirus has now spreading across countries and causing panic that has killed 130 people and infecting more than 6000 Chinese citizens. Google has now temporarily closed all its offices in mainland China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan.

Google mainly focuses on the sales and engineering advertising business in China. The employees in China and those with immediate relatives returning from China was told to work from home for at least 14 days from Wednesday onwards.

 

On the other hand, Apple has temporarily shuttered two more stores in FuZhou and Nanjing yesterday because they are located in the malls that have been temporarily shut down. The company has now shut down a total of 3 retail stores in China due to the virus outbreak.

According to China’s National Health Commission, the virus is known as 2019-nCoV which was reported and under investigation since 31 December 2019. The Coronavirus has linked to the family of the Deadly SARS and the Middle East respiratory syndrome(MERS) by the Chinese scientists.
