In just less than a week, Xiaomi will have a global livestream of the upcoming Xiaomi 12 series. While there are plenty of leaks here and there, there's a new Xiaomi 12 Ultra leak that certainly piqued our interest, not of the tech specs but rather the image render.

The image render of the Xiaomi 12 Ultra was leaked by a tipster called @Shadow_leaks just a few hours ago. While it's best to take it with a grain of salt, the rear camera design is big and bizarre as it's taking over the whole top part of the phone. You can also clearly see a quad-camera setup in a ring design alongside an LED flashlight and others.

The tipster didn't stop there, he also leaked out the tech specs for the camera. He claimed that it consists of a 50MP (main) + 50MP (ultrawide) + 16MP (portrait) + 48MP (telephoto) sensor. On top of that, the AMOLED display is huge as well measuring 6.73-inches at 2k resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate support.

Of course, we expect the Xiaomi 12 Ultra to feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset and we won't be surprised if it has a 5000mAh battery with a 120W fast charging technology. Besides that, the phone should be running on Android 12 out of the box and IP68 rated.

We don't have to wait that long until the Xiaomi 12 series is announced. Until then, do stay tuned for our official news coverage at TechNave.com.
