The latest Xiaomi 17 series of smartphones has achieved an incredible sales milestone in just two days after its launch. In a short period of time, sales of the Xiaomi 17 series have surpassed the one million unit mark, with the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max accounting for more than half of the total, followed by the Pro version.
Better sales than the Xiaomi 15 series
Both models managed to maintain a price tag of 6000 Yuan (~RM3940), which shows a stronger position for Xiaomi's flagship device line. However, there was criticism over the lack of a 1TB storage option on the standard Xiaomi 17 model at launch.
Moreover, Xiaomi immediately acted by announcing the mass production of the variant, which will officially go on sale on October 5th for 5299 Yuan (~RM3480). The price is 200 Yuan (~RM130) lower than the same version in the previous Xiaomi 15 series.
Additionally, the Xiaomi 17 series has already surpassed the sales speed of the Xiaomi 15, and he is confident that the total volume will surpass the previous generation. Despite facing stock shortages and high demand for some configurations, Xiaomi has promised to increase supply so that customers can get their devices faster.
