Just this afternoon, Xiaomi Malaysia confirmed that the Xiaomi Pad 6 is on its way to Malaysia this month. While no date has been set, here's what you need to know about the upcoming tablet.
Currently, the Xiaomi Pad 6 and Pad 6 Pro are on sale in the Chinese market. Both tablets have different mobile processors, which are the Snapdragon 870 and Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset respectively. Despite that, both share the same 11-inch 144Hz 2.8K IPS LCD and quad Dolby Atmos speaker system.
The Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro has a higher camera setup, consisting of a 50MP main camera and 20MP front camera, whereas the standard version only gets 13MP and 8MP respectively. However, the pro variant's battery pack is slightly smaller at 8840mAh if compared with the Pad 6's 8600mAh battery pack. The pro has a faster charging speed at 67W and is twice as fast as the Pad 6's.
There's no telling which memory configuration we would get, as it ranges from 6GB to 12GB of RAM, and 128GB to 512GB of storage. For reference, the starting price from China ia 1999 Yuan (~RM1288). In other news, the new Redmi 12 can officially be purchased at Authorized Xiaomi Stores from July 15, 2023 onwards. Early buyers are in for a treat as there will be an additional promotion to get a free Redmi Buds 4 Lite worth RM 139 for each purchase at selected outlets.
