Back at the end of August, ZTE strangely brought in the Axon 30 Ultra 5G first into Malaysia at the price of RM3599. Today, the vanilla Axon 30 5G is making its way here as a global version during December with an unknown date.

For context, the Axon 30 5G and Axon 30 Ultra 5G tech specs have some differences. The most obvious one is that the former uses a new-gen under-display camera with a 16MP sensor. Hidden on top of the 6.92-inch AMOLED display, the screen panel also supports a 120Hz refresh rate and 360Hz touch sampling rate, a 20.5:9 aspect ratio as well as a DTS:X Ultra 3D audio technology system.

Moving on, the Axon 30 5G features a Snapdragon 870 chipset. While we don't know what memory configuration it will come in, it will have at least 6GB of RAM and 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Like the ultra variant, there's a quad rear camera for the Axon 30 5G too with a main 64MP camera, alongside an ultrawide, maco and depth lens. Other than that, it's also equipped with a 4200mAh battery pack with 55W fast charging technology and a triple ice cooling system.

Previously, the predecessor was supposed to come into the Malaysian market but that didn't happen at all without any explanation. Hopefully, it will make a real appearance this time. Until then, stay tuned for more trending tech news at TechNave.com.
