The airasia Super App now lets users book tickets for buses, trains and ferries

airasia Super App today announced an expansion to its booking capability as the platform now allows users to book tickets for buses, trains and ferries seamlessly via its latest offering, airasia transport. Already one of the top players in the OTA (online travel agent) space with flights from over 700 global carriers and over 700,000 hotels on its platform, the airasia Super App is now making available the option for users to book alternative modes of transport to their end destinations. 

In a press release, airasia Super App announced that airasia transport is currently available in Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia and the Philippines. Powered by 12Go, one of the largest ground transport OTAs in Asia, airasia transport has over 4,000 transport operators across Asean on the platform.

Furthermore, to celebrate the launch, airasia Super App is offering 20 times airasia points for each user’s first transaction on airasia transport. To do so, users only need to click on the ‘Transport’ icon on the airasia Super App and make a booking.

Making a booking is pretty straightforward too. All you need to is follow these steps:

  1. Click on the ‘Transport’ icon on the airasia Super App
  2. Select your route
  3. Select your desired transport
  4. Confirm your booking
