(Updated) Samsung Galaxy S9 & Galaxy S9+ price revealed from RM3299, pre-order has begun & new trade-in program introduced

The much teased and anticipated Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ have been revealed at the MWC 2018 event. As you can guess, the price tag is in the flagship range and it will cost starting from RM3299 (Galaxy S9, 64GB), RM3799 (Galaxy S9+, 64GB), RM3999 (Galaxy S9+ 128GB) and RM4399 (Galaxy S9+, 256GB) respectively. The pre-order page has also officially started today (1 March 2018) and 16 March 2018 is the official release date.

All those who pre-order will get a bundle offer that includes a Harman Kardon speaker worth RM699. A trade-in program was also announced during the event and here's how it works, it will start from 9 March until 30 April 2018 and you can save up to RM400 + pay up the top up the difference. Of course, your device must be in good condition, so that means no cracked display, no damaged or missing buttons, IMEI must be accessible and must be unlocked. On the other hand, Lazada Malaysia has also started its pre-order for the two flagships. Customers will only need to pay a deposit of RM300 to secure the phone, and will receive the phone upon paying the full amount. What’s more, customers who make payments in full are eligible for a 0% interest instalment, bringing home a free Harman Kardon Speaker and an exclusive VIP surprise. 

The new Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ duo have a new camera system - a Super Speed Dual Pixel 12MP + 12MP with Optical Image Stabilizer for each sensor (autofocus) and one of the sensors can go as low as F/1.5 aperture. There's also an Augmented Reality Emoji for you, a slow-mo video recording feature up to 960fps, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset and more.
