Apple had an event earlier today, but it was not a launch event for any new product. It was a special event held to appraise the standout app developers in 2019. You can see it as the Grammys, but for the apps. There are many visual-appealing apps and games being crowned as the best for this year, let’s find out what they are!

We use apps and play games on our phones everyday. With that being said, there must be some of the apps and games which we like better compared to the others.

However, the apps and games chosen by Apple to be the best are the ones we seldom heard or never even see before to some of us. Here’s the list of the best apps and games for different platforms in 2019:

  • iPhone App of the Year: Spectre Camera (Lux Optics)
  • iPad App of the Year: Flow by Moleskine (Moleskine)
  • Mac App of the Year: Affinity Publisher (Serif Labs)
  • Apple TV App of the Year: The Explorers (The Explorers Network)
  • iPhone Game of the Year: "Sky: Children of the Light" (thatgamecompany)
