So this just came in, Maybank Malaysia has just announced that its classic Maybank2u website will be discontinued. The decommissioning will begin in January 2022 but don't worry, the company said you can still log in with your existing username and password, as well as bank online with the current Maybank2u.
From the website, Maybank assures that the username, password and account information will still remain the same. It will not affect M2U Biz users as well and if you can still perform your banking normally on the current Maybank2u website. Basically, nothing's change if you have been using the classic version. It's just a change of scenery.
On top of that, there's no need to create a new account and all your favourite transactions, billers, payees, and transfers are saved automatically to the current Maybank2u. There's no need to set up your recurring payments and transfers again as well.
