Xiaomi’s eco-chain enterprise Huami announced a conceptual smartwatch named as the Amazfit X last year. Due to Covid-19, the Amazfit X did not go through mass production as expected until now. But, we found a statement from Xiaomi Youpin’s official Weibo channel stated that the smartwatch will be announced on 25 August which is today.
According to the posters, the Huami Amazfit X will feature the heart rate monitoring, sleep tracker, and blood oxygen monitoring function. As for the design, the Amazfit X is not your ordinary smartwatch model, it has a 12.5mm ultra-drop 3D curved glass with hidden pressure-sensitive buttons. Besides, it also uses a high-end titanium alloy polished body that is lightweight and solid which is used in manufacturing aerospace and military industries.

The customized 2.07-inch flexible curved screen comes with a maximum brightness of 430nit with 326ppi and 100% NTSC color gamut coverage. The large curvature screen has a viewing area of 244% larger than a normal smartwatch bracelet display and also equipped with an innovative curved lithium battery that can last up to a week. In fact, it equipped with a self-developed AI chip that will help users to detect body abnormalities with the 24h ECG monitoring as well.
With that said, there is still no official confirmation of the Malaysia release dates yet, so do take this with a pinch of salt. But what do you think about it? Let us know at our Facebook page and stay tuned for more tech news updates on TechNave.com!
