The first Huawei Punch Fullview smartphone - Nova 4 is officially available for RM1899

Huawei Malaysia has announced that today's the day the Huawei Nova 4 is officially available in Malaysia starting from the price of RM1899. The smartphone will be the first by Huawei to come equipped with an innovative Punch FullView Display which consists of a small cutout towards the top left of the display where the front-facing 25MP camera is located, allowing the phone to come with up to 91.8% screen-to-body ratio.

Starting from 14 February 2019, the Nova 4 can be purchased at all HUAWEI Experience Stores, display zones, authorised dealers and major telco companies. In other words, the pre-order has already started now until the launching day but nothing on having pre-order freebies. As for the tech specs, it comes with the HiSilicon Kirin 970 chipset with the Neural Processing Unit embedded into it, 8GB of RAM, 128GB of internal storage, 48MP f/1.8 + 16MP f/2.2 + 2MP f/2.4 depth sensor, 25MP f/2.0 front-facing selfie camera, 6.4-inch display with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2310 pixels and it is powered by a 3750mAh non-removable batteries.

And the...O cut-out display. That said, the front camera is pretty tiny measuring at 3.05mm only!

The phone itself is running on the Google Android 9.0 Pie operating system with the EMUI 9.0 on top. In terms of the colour scheme, the Nova 4 comes in either Crush Blue and Black in Malaysia (sorry, no red).
