iOS 19 will be launched this year with information about it to be shared at the WWDC event on June 10. According to a Bloomberg report , among the new features that will be introduced in iOS 19 is the same battery management and charging system that Android currently uses. So, what should you know about it?
For your information, iOS 19 will use artificial intelligence (AI) to manage battery power usage by apps. The operating system will look at daily usage habits before changing settings to extend battery life. This year's iPhone 17 is predicted to be thinner and battery optimization is necessary to ensure long battery life.
This feature is similar to Adaptive Battery , which Google introduced in 2018 with Android 9 Pie . Adaptive Battery will turn off apps in the background if it detects that they are using too much power. Next up, iOS 19 will finally give you an estimate of when your device will be fully charged. This will be displayed on the lock screen. Again, this feature has been supported by Android for a long time, with the Pixel taking it a step further by directly giving you the time when your battery will be 100% charged.
