Previously, we wrote some news about the iPhone 14 series could be getting different chipsets and a new naming scheme. The new naming scheme is quite interesting, but there are now new reports that the pro variants may look different as well.
In case you missed it, the rumour was that the iPhone 14 series could consist of the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Max, iPhone 14 Pro and the iPhone 14 Pro Max. On top of that, the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro could use a 6.1-inch display whereas the Max models' displays are 6.7-inches.
In this new report, Apple may have some plans to make the pro variants a bit special due to the design. The iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max could have a new "notch + pill" design at the top, thus making them slightly taller to accommodate it. This is not the first time we heard of a new notch look but we ought to take it with a grain of salt.
Moreover, other reports also think that Apple is working to implement satellite communication for the iPhone. This technology is said to allow users to send text messages over satellite but the progress is unknown. At this rate, we doubt that it would be ready on the iPhone 14 series.
