For a long time, Apple’s iPhone lineup has always feature one of the best mobile processors in the market. However, while the CPU’s performance and efficiency are top notch, you can’t say the same about its RAM configuration which is simply not up to par with other smartphones in the market.

Well, according to a an analysis by market research firm TrendForce, the iPhone 14 series may finally come equipped with 6GB of RAM (the standard these days) across the lineup. Furthermore, the firm also claimed that the iPhone 14 Pro series will get the faster, more power-effecieint LPDDR5 RAM compared to the LPDDR4X touted for the regular iPhone 14 models.

This information is also consistent with the prediction made by reliable tipster on everything Apple, Ming-Chi Kuo, who previously asserted the same thing. Hence, there may be some form of truth behind these claims.

Besides that, TrendForce also said that the iPhone 14 Pro models will start with 256GB of storage. However, they didn’t mention what type of memory would be used or whether the price would be increased for the entry-level Pro model.

As always, do take this information with a grain of salt as nothing is confirmed as of yet. Well, we just have to wait for Apple’s unveiling of the iPhone 14 lineup this September to be truly sure.
