Apple's annual iPhone event is coming real soon in September and rumours are flying high on the iPhone 15 series. In this latest news, we could see a new naming scheme for the iPhone 15 Pro Max. According to sources, it may be renamed to the iPhone 15 Ultra.

This piece of news first came out from Bloomberg's Mark Gurman in his weekly newsletter, saying that the iPhone 15 Ultra has a high "potential" to replace the iPhone 15 Pro Max. Besides that, the same rumour also came from Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo sometime at the end of 2022 and early 2023. Andrew O'Hara from AppleInsider.com also think it's going to happen.

The iPhone 15 Ultra name monicker is becoming quite frequent lately and it really reminds us of the Apple Watch Ultra that was revealed last year. However, it's best that we take it with a pinch of salt. This is because the AirPods Max was dubbed as the AirPods Studio prior to its release, and the visionOS was heavily rumoured as xrOS.

Well, September is just around the corner so we won't need to wait that long for Apple's answer. Until then, just sit tight and stay tuned for the official news.
