iQOO Malaysia has been hyping up the iQOO 12 5G series' arrival and we now have the date. According to its Facebook page, the iQOO 12 5G series will be Malaysia's first Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 flagship and the date is set for 6 December 2024.
There are a couple of variants for the iQOO 12 5G series. Ranging from 12GB of RAM up to 1TB of storage so there's no telling which one would come. But besides the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, the standard iQOO 12 features a 6.78-inch AMOLED 144Hz display with HDR support, 3000nits peak brightness, 2160Hz PWM dimming and more. On the other hand, the iQOO 12 Pro also has the same display size as well as the same set of cameras.
Both the iQOO 12 and iQOO 12 Pro feature the same triple rear camera. They consist of a 50MP (main, OIS) + 64MP (periscope telephoto + 100x digital zoom) + 50MP (ultrawide) setup, while the front camera is 16MP. The only differences between the two are the 5000mAh and 5100mAh battery pack respectively (with the same 120W fast charging technology).
