In mid of March, iQOO Malaysia teased that a new device will be coming here and true enough, the iQOO Z7 5G and iQOO Z7x 5G have been confirmed. These two phones are scheduled to launch on 10 April 2023.
Since the iQOO Z7 has already been launched in India, here are the official tech specs. The iQOO Z7 5G features a MediaTek Dimensity 920 5G, 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage (expandable up to 1TB via microSD card). The battery pack is 4500mAh and supports 44W fast charging, whereas the AMOLED display is 6.38 inches in FHD+ resolution.
Moreover, it has a dual rear camera setup consisting of a 64MP (main sensor, OIS) + 2MP (bokeh) lens, and the front camera is 16MP. As for the iQOO Z7x 5G, it's not launched yet but is said to feature a Snapdragon 695 chipset, as well as an 8GB + 128GB memory configuration. The display is not that bad, measuring 6.65 inches with a 120Hz refresh rate.
The IPS LCD is joined by an 8MP front camera, while the 50MP + 2MP cam setup is behind. The battery could be big too, using 6000mAh and supports 80W fast charging via USB C. Currently, the official price for the iQOO Z7 is 23,999 Rupee (~RM1286) and it comes in Norway Blue and Pacific Night colour scheme.
