OnePlus is now working closely on their upcoming flagship OnePlus 9 series and it is rumored to be launching three smartphones under the series this time. Although the company manufactures great flagship smartphones in terms of software and hardware, there is still one weakness which is the camera qualities. And the latest leaks shows that the coming OnePlus 9 series will still be lacking the periscope lens on its camera setup.
According to the leaks, the OnePlus 9 Pro will be coming in with a quad camera setup on the rear while the OnePlus 9 will only be equipped with a triple rear camera setup. In terms of the camera sensors, both of the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro will sport a 50MP main camera, 20MP ultrawide angle lens and a 12MP telephoto lens. As for the forth sensor for the OnePlus 9 Pro will no longer be a color filter sensor but may be replacing it with an imaging stabilizing sensor.

In terms of the chipset, the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro will both be sporting the Snapdragon 888 chipset while the third model, OnePlus 9 lite will come with a Snapdragon 865 chipset. As for the OnePlus 9 lite, the leaks also mentioned it shares a lot of similarities with the OnePlus 8T in terms of hardware. This will be the first time OnePlus is launching 3 models in one flagship series.
With that said, there is still no official confirmation on the tech specs and Malaysia release dates, so do take this with a pinch of salt. All we got here is that it may be debuted in March 2021. So do stay tuned for more tech news updates on TechNave.com.
