The new Xbox Series X Digital Edition will feature 1TB storage

Last March we reported an Xbox Series X without a disc drive would launch. This morning during the Xbox Showcase event, Microsoft officially launched the Xbox Series X Digital Edition with 1TB of storage. To make it easier to distinguish this non-driver version from the previous model, it is only offered in Robot White.

Moreover, the company also announced the Xbox Series X – 2TB Galaxy Black Special Edition with a space-like finish. The storage is also twice as big as the regular edition console. Finally, the Xbox Series S – 1TB was also launched offering this more affordable console with larger storage.

All the console announcements are exciting but Xbox fans in Malaysia are still waiting for its official support. Until now the wait continues even though a few months ago it passed SIRIM. We have yet to confirm other details on the Malaysia release date. Hopefully, these consoles will arrive in Malaysia.

The sale price of the three latest SKUs of Xbox is as below:

Xbox Series X – 2TB Galaxy Black Special Edition – $600 (~RM2814)
Xbox Series X – 1TB Digital Edition – $450 (~RM 2110)
Xbox Series S – 1TB – $350 (~RM 1641)
