The Xiaomi CIVI, which the company dubbed the most visually appealing Xiaomi smartphone, arrived a few days ago. It also came with above-average tech specs such as Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G chipset, a 120Hz AMOLED display, and 55W fast charging. However, it's reported that the device will only be available in China, which might be news that saddens the global fans.

According to Android Authority, Xiaomi has informed that the CIVI will remain a "Mainland China-only device." It looks like the company has no plans to launch the device in other regions, even in India. Furthermore, GSMArena also claims that there's no point getting the device imported as it might struggle with running Google Mobile Services (GMS).

However, it's not like there will be no chance at all for the device to make it to the global stage. If you know Xiaomi, the company likes introducing different versions of a particular smartphone for various regions. Therefore, a rebranded version of the Xiaomi CIVI might be on the way, so who knows?
