The new colour on Nintendo Switch Lite was Pantone's Colour of the Year 2019

Launching new colour variants of a device can be as exciting as launching a whole new device, or maybe a little bit less exciting? After a few months from the release date of the Nintendo Switch Lite, the compact gaming device will now get a new colour upgrade, and the option has been named ‘Coral’.

The colour scheme could possibly be inspired by Pantone’s Colour of the Year 2019, which sounds reasonable to bring a trending colour to an already popular device. There are also people saying that the colour was actually inspired by the cherry blossom season, and it sounds equally cool as well. Other than Nintendo Switch Lite, we have also seen this colour ‘Coral’ being used on the Apple iPhone XR.

Earlier, we have already seen a new Animal Crossing version of Nintendo Switch being all cute and hyping the Internet. Now, we are glad that the Switch Lite gets a makeover too, and its productions didn’t get delayed like some of the Nintendo products as well due to the outbreak of COVID-19.

The new colour Nintendo Switch Lite can be pre-ordered starting from 7th of March and ships out on 20th of March in Japan. Let us know what you think about this new colour of Nintendo Switch Lite on our Facebook page. Stay tuned to TechNave.com for more viral tech news.
